The Nordic Batgame is quick to set up and incredibly easy to learn. It is designed to bring together both children and adults. It is outdoor play in the garden, park or on the beach but also for use in the hall, or wherever you are. Here you will get a step-by-step guide, so you can get started in a few minutes. 1. Find the perfect location

The game and the net require very little space. Find a flat surface with 2½-3 meters on each side of the net to play on.
Official court dimensions are 2.5 mx 6 meters.

It could be:
- In the garden, terrace, street, park or garage, At the beach or in the hall, or... The game is designed to be played almost anywhere - both outdoors and indoors.

Follow the assembly instructions in the kit:
- Assemble the frame, attach the net and set it up, 2 people.
- Use the pegs in windy weather or on uneven ground

2. Mark the course (optional)

Official course goals and rules are included in all game sets – but you decide how precise you want to be. If you want to mark the course, you can purchase yellow course markers in the shop – perfect for asphalt, patio or indoors. New Blue course markers for grass and parks will be ready for sale in the shop January 2026.

3. Choose your rules of the game

All game sets contain rules for:
- Fun & games for beginners
- Competitive games for advanced players
- Ideas for games for kids vs adults
- Change levels when you're ready for more of a challenge

4. Ready, set, play!

Start with two players and one of the three balls/badminton shuttlecocks that are included in all game sets. Position yourself about 1 meter away from the net on each side. Play alternately through the white marked opening in the net. As in badminton and table tennis, but here you play through the net.

Points are awarded when:
The ball does not bounce or is played out of bounds. If playing with a rubber ball, the ball may hit the ground once and be bounced again, which is not allowed with shuttlecocks.

Play to 11 points, in 3 or 5 sets – or just for fun!

🟡 Tip: Start by practicing by simply playing each other as many times as possible and playing without smashing. This is the best way to learn to play, so everyone gets a good feel and understanding of the game from the start.

5. Try all the balls – find your favorite

The Nordic Batgame set contains three different balls, including 2 shuttlecocks with different speeds and levels of difficulty, as well as a rubber ball that can bounce on asphalt and floor. Change the balls and find the type that suits you best. It provides variety – and makes the game even more fun.

6. Make it your own

Nordic Batgame has roots in the classic Batspil and Padelspil, where it varies between on the one hand to compete and compete, and on the other hand to simply play each other well, as in beach tennis. So find your style, adapt the rules, the pace and the ball choice to your level. Perfect for tournaments, family fun or quick matches all year round!

Nordic Batgame, which is presented at this and several selected shops, is a family-run Danish company , 25 Creative ApS, based in Stavnsholt in Furesø Municipality. We are a passionate Danish company that is passionate about creating active, fun and community-based experiences for children, young people and families – both outdoors and indoors.

Nordic Batgame is developed with a clear vision
To make it easy and fun to move – regardless of age, level and surroundings. A kind of badminton, beach tennis, table tennis, even a bat game for playing all year round. We combine Danish quality, play and flexibility in one overall concept. All play sets are designed, assembled and quality tested in Denmark before they are shipped. We are responsible for quality assurance ourselves and only cooperate with manufacturers who meet EU requirements. We are insured through Tryg Forsikring for both commercial and product liability.

Strong roots in association life
Behind Nordic Batgame stands a family with roots in the Danish association tradition and with active participation in association life. We have cut fruit ourselves, filled water jugs, cheered on our children at shows and competitions, founded associations, been coaches, chairmen, treasurers and whistled matches as referees in various sports and disciplines for years.

It has also resulted in many years at Idrættens Hus as a development consultant, project manager and as head of one of the sports' specialist associations.

Move Denmark
A highlight was when, as head of Floorball Denmark, I landed our federation agreement with DIF and DGI in 2015 in the Bevæg Dig for Livet - Vision Project. The purpose of the project was to get more Danes moving towards 2025. HRH King Frederik - as a supporter/ambassador for the Vision Project - had the honor of presenting the sport of floorball.

Now we are approaching 2026, and the community and experiences in sports are still worth it - and we are very happy to bring our equipment and game sets home to the garden, on the street, on the beach or in the hall to you, your family or your association. Enjoy the game - We stand for quality!
